Abstract
This text presents a reflection on arts-based educational research and the results of a qualitative analysis of the approaches and research methodologies developed within an interdisciplinary master's program that crosses the scientific domains of Education, Arts, and Social Sciences. The aim is to broaden and deepen this emerging field of research, both through a theoretical-conceptual review that supports the underlying analysis and discussion, and through mapping the theses and intervention projects carried out by students in the master's program, highlighting the reverberations and shifts that occur in educational research, with and through the arts. By recognizing that the field of educational research is open and does not have rigid boundaries with the arts, nor does it allow for the creation of hierarchies or colonizations, new spaces and territories open up, full of contaminations and hybridity.
