Origami STEAM: A proposal for interdisciplinary work in the training of future teachers of Mathematics and Natural Sciences in the 2nd CEB

Abstract
STEAM education has gained relevance in the initial training of Mathematics and Science teachers at the 2nd CEB. However, it is sometimes difficult for prospective teachers to relate the different STEAM areas. This article presents the perception of future teachers regarding the relationships between the STEAM areas, based on the work they carried out in the proposal called “Origami STEAM”. It was found that origami constituted a relevant object of integration between science and mathematics, having proved to be an added value for future teachers to understand the opportunities for the relationship between the STEAM areas.
