A Família na Cooperação com a Escola: perceções e expectativas sobre o suporte aos Trabalhos de Casa

Abstract
This exploratory study developed at a school in Setúbal aimed at getting an insight on parents’/carers’ and their representatives’ understanding of homework support; perceptions and expectations on teachers’ role and their own, as well as grasping constraints found in parents’ and teachers’ cooperation in this domain. Results stress needs for a review of school policies promoting clear understanding of roles and mutual expectations towards effective articulation between these education players.
