Pedagogical research as an object of investigation An overview of trends from 1990 to 2021

Abstract
This work presents a literature review aimed at gathering, systematizing, and analyzing research that addresses pedagogical research as an object of investigation from 1990 to 2021. Fourteen academic productions were identified and read in full. It is concluded that pedagogical research positively influences the constitution of teachers' knowledge and the understanding of their own professional practice, as the knowledge produced becomes systematized, discussed, and shared.
