Attitudes towards Mathematics: A study in the 3rd and 6th grades

Abstract
Students' attitudes towards mathematics influence their academic success. The present study analyses the attitudes of 3rd and 6th graders towards Mathematics. A quantitative methodology was adopted. The study sample consists of 72 students, with data collected through the application of a questionnaire. The results show that there is a relationship between students' attitudes towards Mathematics and grades, age and academic results.
