Assembleias de Alunos metodologias ativas para uma gestão democrática de escola
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article focuses on the influence of the Student Assemblies in a specific school in two substantial ways: in developing a sense of citizenship in the students, by building active and relevant citizen participation in the community, and in the democratic management of the school, where the students have seen the application of their proposals over time.
The text aims to share the experience of creating and working with Student Assemblies over the course of eight years, emphasising that this activity has become even more significant as a result of the methodological changes implemented in the school. Through a pedagogical innovation plan designed exclusively for the school, it has promoted the project work methodology, collaborative work and the application of active methodologies in the classroom.
At the same time, a theoretical framework is provided for the concepts covered, in order to support the decisions made throughout the process and the conclusions reached.
