Implications of wearing a face mask in the development of children from 0 to 36 months old

Abstract
The following study focuses on the effects of adult caregivers wearing a face mask while taking care of children aged between 0 and 36 months old. Particularly, it becomes an object of reflection, the way in which these babies started to collect information from the covered faces, which prevented the recognition of facial emotions as well as the establishment of correct communication. This fact impacts greatly on their development, namely at the level of the complex process of language acquisition, which results from the interaction with the stimuli of the surrounding linguistic environment.
