Dataficação, plataformização e colonialismo de dados: um debate sobre conceitos centrais para a compreensão do ecossistema digital contemporâneo

Abstract

This article deals with a theoretical reflection based on a literature review of topics important to the public debate on cyberspace, such as datafication and algorithmic systems, data colonialism, and platformisation processes. The objective of the work is to characterize the contemporary digital ecosystem, understanding how the phenomena inherent to this area interfere in the private lives of individuals and the sociocultural and political-economic constitution of societies, namely, Westernized ones.
